What I got so far
Not quite satisfied with my results so I guess I am not finished with this piece. The composition seems too boring and something needs to help balance everything out. Too much space towards the left and it just doesn't have that "kick/punch" feeling to it. What I need is more kinetic energy.
But, I figure I'd share what I have so far and my process. Any feedback/advice would be great!

Commercials
Feel like I need to update my blog. Since there's nothing for me to update, I'll just share some of my favorite commercials. This time, it's BBDO's campaign, "Ecomagination" for General Electric. If I remembered correctly, G.E. is one of the most pollutant company in the world, and yet they have this commercial. Anyways, I believe there's always a second chance in everything and maybe they want to start things fresh...and through the campaign, they made a believer out of me.
First one, "Jar" 2007:
Second, "Fishing" 2006:
Still GE but different campaign, "Love Story" 2008:

Brandi Milne
An artist that I've recently took notice of, Brandi Milne. She's originally a children book illustrator and you can tell in the video that her artworks are very cute and child-like. Love her bright bold color and the nice thick black outlines. I love lines...anything with nice thick outlines, I'll like it.
If you're in the LA area, drop by ThinkSpace Gallery for her show!
