A wonderful high school buddy of mine is getting married in October(2011) and asked me to illustrate the day he proposed to her. I was honored and felt more than happy to do a piece for him and his lovely fiancée
The illustration pretty much summarize the day they've spent up in the mountains, the trails they took, and the waterfalls they've seen. Since the day was spent hiking so it made total sense for me to illustrate it like a "trail map".

Wow, it's been a while. Been busy lately, so that's good. Things are moving...moving slowly...but it's moving alright.
I still have been keeping up with my one card per week. On the side, been working on some t-shirt design for a local client (will post those later).

Did another sketch and I'm really feeling it.



Much happier with this composition, pose, and how everything falls together. Probably will do another sketch to loosen up the pose a little bit (still seems a little stiff) and then one last final sketch for study. Very excited about this piece because it's been a while since I last painted a piece...I think it was back in jan~feb?
