"Sometimes..."

Finally finished with this piece and I am very satisfied with it.



"Sometimes I Wish it Was You" 13"x19" Acrylic and Ink on paper.

Next step, really need to save up and buy a nice dslr to take better pics.

In a way, I guess I was lucky to snap this photo when I last visited Taiwan back in 2007. I got these photos framed and gave them as a gift to my Uncle and her three children.

You will be missed

One of the most important person was taken away from me. The greatest Aunt in the whole wide world. She raised me when I was a little boy. And I called her "Mom".
I love you so much...and you will be missed.

slowly but surely

It's pretty fun working on two pieces at one time. That way, when I'm tired of one, I'll just work on the other. Especially for the font piece, I can easily get bored of that one.
The illustration is looking good. Got my flat colors down and some details in other. Layers and layers and layer, tedious but rewarding.

Relief

For some reason, these two pieces have been a struggle for me. Got it down in my head and my sketchbook, but for some reason, just couldn't execute it on my final sketch. After many struggle, was able to lay down something that I'm satisfied with....felt so relieved.




Now, I can peacefully work!

Fun little exercise. Makes you think more about characteristics of each individual letter.
