Here are some of Audrey Kawasaki's paintings from her Japan solo show. What intrigues me the most about her paintings are her symbolism, outlines (of course), attention to details, and the natural wood grain incorporated into the paintings. Although her subjects are not the typical subjects that I would draw, but nonetheless, she did an awesome job painting her female figures. They look pretty and yet spooky at the same time. Head over to her blog for more close-up shots!
